Rockland, MA – Venture Tape Corp., a worldwide manufacturer of specialty tapes, has introduced an improved version of its original VentureShield, a clear, acrylic, automotive surface protection system that is more durable and easier to install than other available products. The new VentureShieldULTRA features an advanced adhesive with greater adhesion levels (30 percent) and 25 percent reduced thickness, making it more durable and easier to install with fewer chances for installation defects.

"We developed VentureShieldULTRA in conjunction with a major German auto OEM for its next generation of paint systems," says Brett Webster, VentureShield product manager. "VentureShieldULTRA adheres very well to the next generation clear coat paint systems coming out that have very low surface energy. The lower the surface energy, the harder it is to adhere to. In essence, this is the next generation of auto protection adhesive for the next generation of auto paint systems," says Webster.

The VentureShieldproduct family has established a strong position as the premium leader in paint and surface protection. The products offer a range of performance from high impact protection to the aesthetic needs of sensitive displays and electronics.
