Global Latex Conference To Showcase Vytex NRL

Atlanta, GA - Rapra Technology Limited has invited Vystar Corporation to present its revolutionary Vytex NRL product at the Latex and Synthetic Polymer Dispersions Conference 2008 in Madrid in January.

"Vytex Natural Rubber Latex: A Proposed Industry Standard for the Manufacture of Commercial Natural Rubber Products" will be presented by Vystar President and Chief Operating Officer William R. Doyle.

"Vytex NRL was designed to offer a standardized source material for the production of natural rubber products," Doyle said. "We have repeatedly completed large-scale pilot production runs producing Vytex NRL that consistently meets the strictest industry standards for ‘safe' NRL while retaining all the positive properties of NRL: barrier protection, elasticity, durability, stability and "softness'' for a wide range of applications. We're very excited about the opportunity to talk about Vytex NRL as the new standardized NRL source material in Madrid."

Vytex NRL is natural rubber latex that has undergone a proprietary process removing the antigenic proteins that trigger allergic reactions. Commercially available and appropriate for a wide array of applications, Vytex NRL can be integrated into many existing manufacturing environments without investment in additional equipment. In addition, when compared to traditional NRL or synthetic products, its chemical and physical properties demonstrate similar or superior performance characteristics. Vytex NRL is only slightly more expensive than traditional NRL and is competitive with many "natural rubber free" alternative materials.

The first sample batches of Vytex NRL will be shipped to the laboratories of manufacturers in industries ranging from adhesives, foams, and balloons to medical gloves, condoms and threads in fourth quarter 2007. Over the two years since Vystar first introduced Vytex NRL to Rapra 2006 conference attendees, Vytex NRL has moved into test production, been used in small runs of medical gloves, condoms and balloons, and attained consistent test scores that are backed up by quality assurance methodologies to ensure ongoing repeatability.

Vytex NRL development continues under the close scrutiny of the Vytex Technical Advisory Board of health care experts as well as that of the company's board of directors. Early in 2007, Vytex NRL earned Vystar Corporation a berth as a Top Ten Innovative Technology Company in Georgia.
