Jowat adhesives are manufactured on modern, partly computer assisted, production lines. Many of those machines are of our own design.

Daily, over 250,000 lbs. of adhesives leave the main factory in Detmold - filled and unfilled EVA hotmelts, Polyamid hotmelts, Polyolifin hotmelts as well as solvent based hotmelts, PVAc and dispersion adhesives. In the polymerization reactors raw dispersions are designed depending on there application for later use, especially water resistant D3/D4 adhesives. Reactive Polyurethane systems (PUR dispersions or moisture curing PUR hotmelts) are relatively new adhesive systems which gain more and more importance.
In Zeitz, the second German production site, hotmelts, PVAc adhesives, dispersions and separating agents are manufactured since 1992.
Jowat products are exported into 50 plus countries around the world. Sister companies in the United States and Switzerland, independent sales organizations in Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland, as well as active sales partners, trading companies and licensees worldwide assist the end user in obtaining our products.
Over 400 different adhesives improve the manufacturing process of many products. Main emphasis is on the woodworking industry.
