Datasheet: 9732 RTV Silicone Sealant

Bostik 9732 RTV Silicone is a single component acetic acid cure industrial sealant that cures to a tough, flexible, rubbery elastomer. Its outstanding weatherability allows the sealant to retain its original adhesion, elongation and tensile strength properties after years of exposure.

Typical Applications
For general purpose bonding, sealing and fastening:

• Making formed in place gaskets for gear boxes, compressors, or pumps
• Sealing equipment compartments and machinery to prevent water from entering
• Sealing air conditioner units, exterior flashing, and duct work
• Bonding brackets, nameplates, and gaskets in industrial applications
• For extended performance at higher temperatures (9732 Red) sealing and encapsulating heating elements in appliances, caulking sheet metal stacks, duct work and housings, sealing pipe joints, and high temperature flues or access doors
