Adhesives Research, Inc. Introduces New High-Performance Repulpable Splicing Tapes
ARclad 0040 is a single-faced, white repulpable splicing tape designed with superior adhesion properties, exceptional tear resistance, extensibility and structural memory to allow for roll conformability. ARclad® 0041, similar to ARclad 0040, is a highly visible blue tape for easy splice identification.
Both high-performance splicing tapes maintain a high level of tack over a wide range of environmental conditions and are very aggressive, repulpable adhesives. ARclad 0040 and ARclad 0041 are appropriate for roll finishing; roll tabbing; core starting; butt splicing; and perfect splicing applications.
ARclad 0079 is an aggressive, clear double-faced splicing tape with an easy-to-use release liner. An advanced technology carrier allows for ARclad 0079 to split evenly in the middle. This feature prevents brown core fiber from entering the broke system upon automatic paper removal from the core. The premium repulpable split tape strongly adheres to hard-to-adhere-to paper and paperboard grades.
All three new products, ARclad 0040, ARclad 0041 and ARclad 0079 meet TAPPI UM213 Procedure A standards, as tested at Adhesives Research, Inc.
In support of the Company's extensive high-performance repulpable splicing tape product line, Adhesives Research's Service PLUS program offers customers technical assistance within 24 hours, splicing tape audits, trial analysis reports, splicing seminars, free samples, technical training and testing services, dispenser maintenance and order acknowledgments.
