Rocky Hill, CT - For a wide range of flexible metal bonding applications, Henkel Corporation has introduced Terostat 7100 Adhesive/Sealant and Terostat 7700 Adhesive, primerless, permanently elastic formulations used to bond and seal dissimilar substrates and resist vibration. Both products demonstrate excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and are compatible with many paint systems.

These one-component, odorless adhesives are non-corrosive and free of solvents, isocyanates, silicones and PVC. Designed for indoor or outdoor end-use applications, Terostat(R) adhesives and sealants resist aging and weathering. These products cure by reacting with ambient moisture, achieving functional strength in just 24 hours.

Available in white, grey or black, Terostat 7100 Adhesive/Sealant bonds and seals simultaneously, fills gaps, resists weather and moisture, and withstands ongoing shock and impact. This elastic sealant is ideal for appliance, specialty vehicle and building construction applications where it can be used on air/water penetration joints, expansion joints, doors, windows, skylights, wall penetrations, precast panels, siding, roofing and gutters.

Available in clear or white, Terostat 7700 Adhesive replaces mechanical fasteners and rivets and provides vibration and sound-dampening benefits. This elastic sealant is ideal for specialty vehicle, small motor, and sign/display assembly where it can be used for general purpose bonding/assembly and to reduce the use of mechanical fasteners.
