Bostik-Nitta JV Laid The Foundations Of Its New Adhesives Plant In Nara (Japan)

In the presence of Vincent Legros, Chairman & CEO of Bostik, the Regional Senior Vice Presidents of Bostik and Arkema, and Nara’s officials, a Shinto ground breaking ceremony (called ‘Jichin-sai’) has been organized in order to purify the future plant under the protection of local guardian god.

The construction of this new world-scale plant will include several production lines dedicated on the one hand to adhesives for the nonwoven market for hygiene applications, and on the other to the industrial adhesives markets.

Planned to be achieved in 2020, this new plant will enable the Bostik-Nitta JV to support the strong growth of its customers in the Japanese hygiene market and to reinforce the production of some industrial adhesives product lines.
