Brandpack Launch A New Eco-Friendly Range Of Materials For Packaging And Label Printing

The new eco-friendly papers are manufactured with FSC certified 99% post-consumer recycled fibres, with a honey glassine backing paper of FSC mix and an acrylic water borne adhesive.

Brandpack launch a new range of eco-friendly certified papers and vinyl, premium refinements, and embellishments for packaging and label printing.

Susan Mallon, the managing director of Brandpack explains that the demand for eco-friendly product labelling and stickers has risen significantly over the past few years. Brandpack deal mainly with B-2-B customers, who are becoming very conscious of their businesses impact on the environment and have decided to lead the way in providing sustainable packaging by demanding eco-friendly materials be used by manufacturers, instead of waiting for lagging legislation and government to take a stand against unsustainable materials and production processes.

The new eco-friendly papers are manufactured with FSC certified 99% post-consumer recycled fibres, with a honey glassine backing paper of FSC mix and an acrylic water borne adhesive.

The polypropylene offers a renewable alternative to fossil-based film and is made from pulp residues. The eco-designed wood-based face film is just as durable as standard polypropylene materials and complies with EU regulations on food safety.

All the above materials are printed in high resolution (1200DPI printing) and can be refined with spot UV or gold/silver metallic including a 3D varnish which stands out from the label giving a strong contrast and creative way to brand your products with a premium appeal.

The new label materials are available on the same core sizes, the standard core size is 76mm but we also offer a range of core down to 25mm. The labels can be cut to any shape or size and supplied in any orientation required for semi-automated or automated application. The new materials are in stock and Brandpack are taking orders on a quotation basis, the website which is run on the Pricer Software platform is currently being updated with the range and live pricing data will be available in the new year.
