IRIS 5050 UV curable material is designed to form high quality dome encapsulations. This material is an ultraviolet curable, medium viscosity material used for coating a variety of substrates. Upon exposure to UV light, this material cures to a flexible, non-yellowing encapsulant. It has adhesion to untreated or treated substrates, with abrasion resistance and low shrinkage for a UV system.
Applications include labels, stickers, pendant/jewelry coatings, and decorative products. The material can cure up to 90 mils thick.
