Devcon Metal Welder™

Metal Welder™ Adhesive Formulated For High-Strength Bonds Devcon Metal Welder™ is a high-performance methacrylate structural adhesive formulated to bond metals and dissimilar substrates. With superior impact and peel resistance, it provides high-strength, durable bonds to a variety of metals, including aluminum, cold rolled steel, stainless steel, copper, and brass. Metal Welder is also effective for bonding metals to plastics and other dissimilar substrates, such as ABS, PVC, Plexiglas, PMMA, polycarbonate, polyesters, and fiberglass reinforced plastics.

Metal Welder requires minimal surface preparation and cures at room temperature in about one hour. It produces permanent load-bearing bonds that are resistant to weathering, humidity, temperatures up to 250 F, and thermal shock.

Devcon Metal Welder adhesive is mixed as dispensed using hand-held manual or pneumatic dispensers with static mixing nozzles. It is available in convenient 50 ml and 490 ml cartridges. Like other Devcon adhesives, Metal Welder is environmentally friendly. It is fully recyclable and reduces plant VOC emissions.

Devcon Metal Prep 90™ is a chemical primer and conditioner designed to improve bond strength and durability on aluminum or stainless steel surfaces. It can be used with Metal Welder or similar metal-bonding adhesives.
