High Energy UV Wand System Delivers Superior Surface Cure For Hard To Cure Adhesives

Rocky Hill, CT - Henkel Corporation has introduced the Loctite ZETA 7760, a high energy UV wand system featuring a 200 watt HPMA lamp that outputs up to 20 watts/cm2 of UV light at 250 to 410 nm. This extremely high energy output provides very rapid tack-free cure cycles and excellent depth of cure.

A single Loctite ZETA 7760 light source can power up to four separate cure areas, an extremely cost effective cure option. Designed for spot curing applications, this system performs best on cure areas up to ½-inch in diameter. The Loctite ZETA 7760 features an auto-ranging (90-265 VAC, 50-60 Hz) solid state power supply, a 200-watt high pressure mercury arc lamp, a universal power supply, and an optional liquid light guide. An hour meter monitors use of the system's 1,000 hours of expected UV lamp life.

This high intensity light source performs extremely well on hard to cure UV adhesive products. Optional UVC light guides and filters further enhance curing. The system can be operated manually or using timed shutter light exposure, from 0 to 99.9 seconds.
