Industrial Grade Solvent

Sil-Clean is an industrial grade solvent that is designed to clean silicone and urethane based products from a wide variety of surfaces. The product contains no chlorinated solvents, petroleum distillates, or DOT flammable ingredients. It is useful for removing uncured and semi-cured resins from equipment, floors, vessels, labware, etc. A versatile cleaner that can be used by immersion/batch techniques, spray equipment, ultrasonics and manual methods such as wiping.

Applications
Equipment Maintenance and Repair: The product can be used to clean resins from equipment for routine repair. Use at room temperature by wiping or immersion. Once the resin is solubilized, the equipment can be rinsed with water.

The product can also be solubilized resin plugs in equipment lines by pouring or pumping the solution into the system.

Silicon Mold Release Removal: The solvent will quickly solubilize mold release agents by wiping the solution on the part to be cleaned or immersing the part. Rinse with water as needed.

Floor and Hard Surface Cleaning: To remove semi-cured or uncured silicones from floors, poor undiluted solvent onto the surface and allow five minutes contact time. Rinse well with water by mopping or other practical method. Other hard surfaces can be cleaned by wiping the product onto the surface.

Labware Cleaning: The solvent is great for cleaning glassware and lab equipment. Simply immerse the part in the concentrated solution or wipe until the resin is solubilized. Rinse well.
