Huntsman Corporation-400 Polyoxypropylenediamine is one of a member of a family of the company's polyamines having as their backbones repeated oxypropylene units. It is a difunctional primary amine having an average molecular weight of approximately 400. Its amine groups are located on secondary carbon atoms at the ends of an aliphatic polyether chain.

It is light in color, low in viscosity and vapor pressure, high in primary amine content, and completely miscible in a wide variety of solvents, including water.

It undergoes reactions typical of primary amines. As an epoxy curing agent, it leads to tough, clear, flexible, impact-resistant coatings, castings, and adhesives. In many cases, it is used in conjunction with other curing agents, contributing flexibility to the finished product.
