Lorama is a privately held chemical company with its head office and laboratory and manufacturing plant located in Milton, Ontario -- just west of Toronto.

We also have a USA sales office located in Brecksville, Ohio. Brecksville is just 12 miles south of Cleveland.

Lorama works with sales agents and distributors throughout North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. Lorama's resins are warehoused in Miami, FL; Mexico City, MX; Hamburg, Germany, Brazil and Milton, Ont.

Lorama's Polysaccharide Resin is a highly modified, colloidal suspension of finely divided starch particles in water. Each particle is less than 10 microns with a surface area that is much greater than the particle's volume.

Lorama starts with a very specific blend of specialty starches, which are uniquely processed at very high temperatures, yielding a hydrolytically stable --hydrogen bonding -- film forming resin. It is a coactive resin in that the Polysaccharide will hydrogen bond with numerous generally utilized resins.
