Easybond is a family of low-density polyethylene-based hot melt adhesives. Designed primarily for case and carton sealing, these lower density products are easier to remove by the centrifugal separation method used in recycling. Available in the same convenient chip form used to manufacture Inseal, Woodweld, and other IA hot melt adhesives, these products are packaged in the ergonomic Packrip (U.S. Patent # 5,507,432) box to facilitate safe handling and prevent contamination. Easy to vacuum, the chips do not roll on floors, mezzanines, or stairways. Tackier and gooey grades are now available in 1-in. co-extruded Minimelt form.

Easybond advantages:

  • Light in color, clean machining, and low odor for an improved working environment.
  • Thermal stability prevents char formation, reduces maintenance costs, and extends equipment life.
  • It provides strong adhesion to many difficult to bond substrates and complies with FDA indirect food contact regulation 175.105.
