Devcon Methacrylate Adhesives are high-performance adhesives for hard-to-bond plastics, composites, and dissimilar substrates
Devcon®acrylate Adhesives are high-performance adhesives for hard-to-bond plastics, composites, and dissimilar substrates. These toughened structural adhesives require minimal surface preparation and cure rapidly at room temperature to high-strength bonds that are resistant to weathering, humidity, and wide variations in temperature. Devcon®acrylates are environmentally friendly. They are fully recyclable and reduce VOC emissions.

Plastic Welder is a two-part methacrylate adhesive, designed to bond dissimilar substrates, as well as unprepared metals, ceramics, wood, and standard engineered plastics. Curing in less than one hour, it provides superior impact and peel resistance with high tensile shear strength (3,500 psi). It can be used at service temperatures up to 250° F.

Designed for use with difficult-to-bond substrates, such as nylon-containing alloys, modified polyesters, epoxy composites and standard plastics, Plastic Welder II is formulated to provide durable adhesion in aggressive environments where resistance to aqueous chemicals, gasolines, and fuels is required.

Flex Welder effectively fills gaps up to 3/8" and provides high impact and shear strengths with increased bond line flexibility. Recommended for use with nylon and its alloys, modified polyesters, epoxy composites, standard plastics, and flexible or semi-flexible substrates, it can be sanded and painted within 60 minutes of application.

Composite Welder FS is a faster curing flexible methacrylate designed for bonding thermoplastics, thermosets, and metal/composite assemblies. A thixotropic gel that cures in less than 1 hour, it provides superior impact and fatigue resistance.

Applied with pneumatic or manual applicator guns, Plastic Welder, Plastic Welder II and Flex Welder are nonsagging formulations that will not run or drip when used on vertical or overhead applications.
