Firestone Synthetic Rubber & Latex Company 101 natural latex is high-quality centrifuged latex designed primarily for processes where low ammonia is preferred. The preservation system in the latex consists of a low ammonia concentration in combination with 0.036% tetramethylthiuram disulfide and 0.036% zinc oxide, expressed on a wet weight basis. It is used for dipped goods, coatings, adhesives, and extruded rubber thread. Test methods are conducted in accordance with ASTM D-1076-88 analytical procedures.
