New PLIOGRIP By Valvoline Tape For Molding And Emblems Introduced To Auto Repair Market

Dublin, OH - A new acrylic double-sided tape for moldings and emblems is now available to the automobile repair market from Ashland Specialty Polymers & Adhesives. The new double-sided tape, part of the PLIOGRIP by Valvoline line of auto body repair products, is water clear, and features a solid core.

"We are very excited about this latest addition to the PLIOGRIP by Valvoline product line," said John Baetz, product manager, Ashland Specialty Polymers & Adhesives. "We have already received encouraging customer feedback reinforcing our belief that we have a strong product offering."

The double-sided tapes are available in 1/4-inch, 1/2-inch and 7/8-inch sizes. The tapes are sold in 20-foot rolls to reduce waste, and because they are formulated as a solid, they will not hold moisture or dust like other foam-core tapes.

PLIOGRIP by Valvoline automobile body repair system from Ashland utilizes urethane, epoxy and MS Polymer technologies. The new tape for moldings and emblems now joins the core product line segmented into four groups: SMC Repair, Panel Bonding, Plastic Repair and Sealers and Foams.
