Henkel have combined their low temperature adhesives along with bio-based materials, to create the world’s first low temperature, carbon negative hotmelt adhesive!

Building on the success of Technomelt Supra 081 ECO, Henkel’s Technomelt Supra 079 Eco Cool is a game changing hotmelt adhesive that is designed for bonding cartons, cases, trays and wrap around packaging. This fantastic hotmelt is designed to improve process efficiency all the while helping to reduce CO2 levels.

Technomelt Supra 079 Eco Cool combines 49% directly bio-based raw materials with 30% ISCC certified mass balanced material, to create the ultimate sustainable hotmelt adhesive and aiding to achieve your sustainability goals. Adhesive users can reduce their CO2 emissions by up to 32%, resulting in up a 7500kg of CO2 saved per year, based on a cradle to gate analysis and a usage of 7 tonnes.

To further contribute to a greener environment, Technomelt Supra 079 Eco Cool is manufactured with CO2 neutral production processes and is fully compatible with the paper recycling process, which is certified by Cyclos HTP.

We recognise that operator safety is paramount, which is why Technomelt Supra 079 Eco Cool has an operating temperature of up to 40°C lower than the standard hotmelt, helping to lower the risk of burns and reduce exposure to vapours and volatile substances. Running a low temperature adhesive could also help you to save up to 50% in energy usage!
