Planetary Mixer

The multi-purpose Planetary Mixer is extremely efficient for mixing and kneading fine solids and liquid materials. The two, open frame blades of the Planetary Mixer are precisely designed to provide close clearance between the blades and the inner walls of the vessel which creates a strong shearing force that results in excellent mixing, kneading and dispersion.

The Planetary Mixer can mix or knead materials with viscosities ranging from 10,000 to in excess of 1,000,000 cps. It features interchangeable mixing vessels allowing for the production of different batches with spare vessels. The vessels can be transported in a variety of ways including castors, forklift, tank porter, automatic transporter, etc.

The planetary orbit of the mixer's blades produces excellent kneading effects and dramatically reduces kneading time. The Planetary Mixer's design also facilitates easy cleaning and quick material transfer.

The Planetary Mixer comes in two models and various sizes. The single post PLM has tanks fixed by manual clamps as standard equipment, and the twin hydraulic post (PLMG) model is fitted with INOUE's exclusive hydraulic tank locking mechanism (pins).

The PLM and PLMG can be custom designed for specific applications to 6,000 liters and furnished with various types of control packages.
