Poly Slik EBS EZFeed Release Liners

The POLY SLIK EBS EZFEED release liner was designed for use in variable information applications, replacing the need for tissue back liners. This polycoated liner offers more layflat than historical product offerings and is designed for laser printing applications.

Customers benefit because the improved sheet feed product eliminates printer jams that would happen with standard two-side polycoated or tissue-back products. Also, the proprietary matte side offers the additional benefit of complete drying which is crucial in lithographic printing.

Shelf talkers (labels that identify a product) are just one application for the POLY SLIK EBS EZPRINT liners. The end-user of the product is a consumer store, such as grocery, hardware and chain department stores. They print variable information including sale price or specific product information on a laser printer then use the labels to communicate this information to the customers.

Another application is the point-of-use label, such as a drum label. The end-user would print specific material information onto the label, including bar codes, drum identification numbers, and hazardous warning information. The label would then be applied to the drum and remain with the drum permanently. It could be replaced with a new label if the drum were recycled.

To evaluate the product, label samples were run numerous times through standard laser printers. All printer trials ran successfully. The liner processed well through the printers without jamming or slippage.
