<%=company1%> announces upgrades to their Customer Testing Laboratory in all areas, including equipment, process monitoring electronics, and utilities to enhance equipment utilization.

The newly installed equipment includes: Model SM45 Supermill 2, a state-of-the-art horizontal mill with additional horsepower and electronic variable speed drive, has various screen options to handle fine media milling applications for low, medium and high viscosity dispersions. The PSM115V Submersible Mill with vacuum capability, available for testing on pigment dispersion for paints, inks and other slurry grinding applications. Model ESD 2/1 Pilot Plant Dual Shaft Mixer installed for testing medium to high-viscosity products including adhesives, caulks, putty and other difficult compounds.

Added to the SM45 Supermill 2 and the PSM115V Submersible Media Mill is the "NAVIGATOR" high-tech monitoring and control system with micro processor and network communication capabilities. This system will automatically control the process equipment based on set product temperatures and motor percent loads, adjusting operating speeds, pump flow rates and cooling water flow. Full batches can be processed to desired results with minimal operator interface.

Other additions to the Premier Testing Laboratory are a Process Chiller, to provide constant cooling water and to eliminate fluctuations in temperature and flow from "city water" supply. Electronic Frequency Drives expand the Lab capabilities and allows simultaneous Variable Speed operation of many pieces of process equipment. To complete the improvements is an Air Handling System, a solvent vapor removal system to minimize any trace emissions of volatile fumes and a Dust Collection System , to handle dust and fine particles when dry powders such
as pigments are handled.

"These upgrades are critical to the development of the next generation of PREMIER dispersion equipment. They are also demanded by many of the new chemical processes we are getting involved with," states John Sneeringer, Premier Technical Director. "If you are striving for increased efficiency, maximum utilization of equipment, and at the same time are exploring new technologies, you must have the utilities in place to make the testing possible. We now have the capability to run 2 or 3 complex tests at the same time and easily control and monitor all the process variables."

Today, Premier Mill is known globally for the quality and the high performance standards of the process equipment and systems we design and manufacture. We've been in business for over 50 years. And throughout those years, we've had but one clear priority: to continue providing the best process solutions and highest quality equipment to our customers. Premier Mill - The perfect blend of intelligence and technology.
