The DUR-O-SET C and RESYN lines of propylene vinyl acetate (PVA) homopolymers offer products suitable for use in packaging, adhesive, and heat-sealing applications. They can bond with a variety of substrates, including wood, cloth, and paper and can provide good water resistance. Typical properties include pH of 3.4 to 6.0; percent solids of 54 to 63, depending on product selected; and protective colloids of PVOH, Dextrin, or HEC.
