The chemistry of the 73 series protective film provides high tack and medium- high peels which helps the film adhere to difficult and complex surfaces. It has a lighter coat weight than competitive products making it much more appealing to the budget. The unique properties of this series make it an ideal product for applications such as the protection of carpet and various stone surfaces. The lower shear value makes it less friendly for surfaces with high surface energy like smooth glossy unpainted metals. Surface Guard 73 Protective Film provides short term surface protection during processing, assembly, and shipping while providing a clean removal when protection is no longer needed.
