Residential Contractors Installing VERSATEX PVC Trim needs an Adhesive that Combines Fast, Clean Application with Maximum Holding Power. Installation Experts at VERSATEX, have Issued an Authoritative Recommendation: Weld-On 705, Now Packaged in Plastic Squeeze Tubes, Combines the Greatest Ease of Use with Superior Bonding Action.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) - VERSATEX® Trimboard, a manufacturer of cellular PVC exterior trim products for residential construction, has issued a recommendation for builders seeking the optimum in an easy to use adhesive for securing the VERSATEX product to itself.

For best results, says VERSATEX Vice President of Sales Rick Kapres, “The new 5 oz. squeeze tube of Weld-On 750 is the way to go.”

Mr. Kapres explains that VERSATEX engineers have long been impressed with the holding power of Weld-On 705. However, in the field, builders found that its conventional metal container and cap-mounted applicator were better designed for industrial bonding than for precise, appearance-critical finish carpentry. With this in mind, the new 5 oz. squeeze tube was created.

The new 5 oz. squeeze tubes are perfect for VERSAWRAP, the company’s one-piece column wrap that arrives at the job site packed flat, with interior corner grooves and a proprietary joint system to ensure a tight, accurate fit around unfinished posts. Before installation, the builder applies four narrow beads of adhesive to secure the single-edge joint and fuse the wrap into its final form.

A video clip explaining the assembly steps appears on the VERSATEX mobile site at http://versatexpert.com/Installing_Versawrap-H.264-Webcasting.php.

“We tested it in the lab and in the field, and the new squeeze tube makes applying Weld-On really trouble-free,” says Mr. Kapres. “There’s a lot less waste, and a lot less need for cleanup, and it makes a strong, tight, permanent bond.

“And Weld-On supplies the tube version of 705 in white, which makes it a great visual match for the VERSATEX line of products.” Weld-On 705, an IPS Corp. product, is sold in the five-ounce tube at construction supply dealers and distributors nationwide, and wherever VERSATEX products are sold.

VERSATEX Trimboard is available from fine millwork distributors nationwide. VERATEX is manufactured at the state-of-the-art facilities of Wolfpac Technologies in Pittsburgh, Pa. – 100 percent engineered, formulated and made in the U.S.A. More information is posted at http://www.versatex.com.
