N/A Purethane A 4000 adhesives addresses the needs of converters that use high-slip films where retention of coefficient of friction is critical. These adhesives are suitable for the flexible-packaging industry. The two products that make up the line are Purethane A 40001 and Purethane A 40002.

Purethane A 4001 is an one-component, water-based urethane adhesive designed for bonding a variety of films used in food packaging, such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester and nylon.

Purethane A 4002 is a two-component, water-based urethane designed for higher-performance applications, such as frozen food, and for applications requiring environmental and temperature resistance. C-CAT 104 cross-linking agent must be added.

These products provide good slip retention, are ultraviolet stable, and won't discolor when exposed to UV light, according to the company.
